When dealing with fungi, bacteria and virus, we keep topicals on hand. We use these liberally and for a longer time than the skin infection. * 70% Isopropyl Alcohol - as spray, use early and liberally kills bacteria, fungi and 99% of virus but does not penetrate skin, so use early or as prevention. * Anti-fungal topical, as cream, penetrates skin and kills fungal infections, use liberally, drown the fungi in it, 2 or 3 times a day and for some days after infection is gone. * Anti-bacterial topical, as cream, penetrates skin and kills bacterial skin infections, use liberally, drown the bacteria in it, 3 times a day and for some days after infection is gone. * Anti-bacterial shampoos for pets, such as Douxo S3 Pyo®, Malaseb®, VetOne® Chlorhexidine Shampoo. Can prevent and clear skin infections, 2 to 3 times a week.
