What ruined the Australian economy is the sales tax system. It took some time to manifest that each time a transaction took place 10% extra would be charged, all other taxes were still in practice. After a time of manifestation, business owners began to come up short every year and their action was to raise prices and so began a 10% sales tax that turned into a super inflationary system where a bag of peanuts is $20 or more. Along with the tax system came a bunch of costly regulation that even further burdened business.

Taxes make poverty, ruin society and destroy nations.

Another thing that ruined the economy was females in the workforce. Woman in the workforce is fine from a perspective of state of woman in society, and not all female in the workforce ruin the economy. The problem was that woman simply phoned men to perform all tasks and women do not care about prices at all, whatsoever. For instance, a female real estate agent would call a man and the man would quote some extremely high price and the woman would normalize it and accept it. While a man would reject a high price, a woman had no gauge on prices and accepted any price the man would quote, as a result a job that was priced at $300 soon could be successfully priced at $3,000 and now all trades and services where woman rely on men to do the work are outrageously expensive. Woman travel to third world countries and tap their credit card like they are back home. They just do not understand it. When men dealt with other men, a man coud save anywhere from 20% to 100% on a job, for instance painting a fence or a house, today the price between cost and quoted price is as large as 4000% higher than cost.

The government fell in place to begin a campaign of denigrating men that DIY and making laws against men doing DIY, with television commercials where the wife of a male working on their home is denigrated by the female while she calls an outside service.

These two elements have destroyed the Australian economy for the citizens of Australia.
